Boise
Nestled against the majestic foothills, Boise, the

Hells Canyon National Recreation Area

petroglyphs and pictographs can be found in the caves and on rock walls in the
canyon. Carved by the great Snake River, Hells Canyon plunges more than a mile
below Oregon's west rim, and 8,000 feet below snowcapped He Devil Peak of Idaho's
Seven Devils Mountains.
Coeur d'Alene
Coeur d'Alene sits on the shore of
Lake Coeur d'Alene which was created by glaciers. The lake is 26 miles long
and offers 100 miles of shoreline with more than a dozen boat ramps. Coeur d'Alene
is an international resort destination that offers year round activities for
all ages.
Coeur d'Alene offers the longest floating boardwalk and local golf courses including
a floating green at the Resort's famous golf course. Summer activities include
fishing on land or by boat, hiking, horseback riding, biking, sailing, golf,
and lake cruises. Winter activities include skiing at nearby resorts, snowshoeing,
